While the day was beautiful, the night’s chill begins to set in. It’s a massive effort, but the reward is a breathtaking view you couldn’t get anywhere else. And winching they do, slowly inching their way up and up. Simon declares there should be a new state motto: Tasmania – the Winching State. Without a trailer, Kiel is able to provide a tow-point with Maxy1 when the baby trees don’t look like they’ll hold in the tug’o’war with Blackout. These rocky tree-lined hills are a new terrain for the boys to tackle, and it proves to be a traction challenge.
